Statements from pupil's trip to Ipswich:

“The trip to England couldn't be a better experience. I feel that I have grown both as a person and as a coach. I enjoyed the course very much and i feel that I came back to Norway better prepared for coaching and leading.”
Cathrine Karlsen

“I think that the trip was very good, both social and academicly. If we look at the academicly, we learned very much! the course was very well organized and the instruksjon was extremly good (T Cox). And the trip for us, as a group was also very good. U get to see new sides of people that u usally don't see. So the trip also brought us closer as a group.
So, a special thanks to Lars, Martin, Per and Trevor, which made the trip a huge success for us!”
Egzon Sadriu

“The trip we had to Ipswich was very nice, it was social and we learned a lot. The Level 1 Certificate Coaching Football was brilliant. I have never learned so much in so few days, tough I never played football before. The trip was for me just perfect.”
Hannah Kristensen

“My trainer education trip to Ipswich was incredible giving and educational. I learned a lot not just as a coach, but also as a person.
The days was surrounded by guidelines to coaching, and not the normal way in Norway which is training. In coaching you ask questions, instead of bringing the answers, which was a different setting for us.
Furthermore did we also join in, physically, in the training sessions which made the whole course more intriguing and demanding.
Now I have an experience that will last my whole life through.
I'm positive that all this knowledge will lead me in the right direction when I come across future jobs and challenges.
And the fact that almost all of the sessions were on english gave the course more depth, us more competence and I'm very satisfied with the final product;
I'm now a FA level 1 trainer.”

“When we were in Ipswich we took the English coaching course called "FA Level 1". The course was very interesting and I got encouraged to start sort of a "coaching career". Our instructors seemed very good at what they were doing, and that was inspiring. We used four days to get our certification, and the course ended with a final exam. Regarding the rest of our trip to England, it all went really well, and I don't think we had any kind of problems. The whole group worked fine together, and I think every one of us enjoyed Ipswich, and England. The last to nights we stayed in London, where we got to do a bit of shopping.”

“It was a great trip. ITFC had planned this good, because we had a quick start

on the course, we had breaks/lunch
at the right time and we got through the course like schedualed. It ment that we had enough time to ourself. The game
was fun even thouch it ended 0-0. Trevor is a very good coach, and I learned more of him then i would on a course in
Norway. ITFC pointed out many things we haven't really cared of in Norway. As I said, ITFC had planned this really good,
so it was never boring in the spare time also.”

“First of all I also wanted to thank you for a very nice trip. It couldn't have been any better! :) Our reason for coming down there was of course the course. I believe most of the people were a bit sceptical, considering the fact that a lot of them don't actually play football anymore. Being that the activity-part of the course was based on football.
But when we arrived and got to see what it was all about, we all changed our mind.
The course was perfect. I myself learned a lot of new and important things. As I am currently coaching Mælum- girls team (aged 12), I got a lot of inspiration. TC was fantastic :D he had incredible teaching skills, so I take my hat off for him.
I had a lot of fun down there, and it is very unfortunate that this will be the last time we will be able to have the opportunity for an incredible trip like this. “

“I am very satisfied with our trip to Ipswich. I have to say it was worth all the hard

work we have been doing trough the year. I have learnd a whole lot about coaching. The Uefa Level 1 cours were very intersting. Academical has the trip been very educational. Everybody in the compoany has been dedicated to the same goal, to finish the course the best possible way. The trip has been very good both social and academicly. The trip has brought us closer as a group. So a special thanks to Trevor Cox, Lars, Per and Martin”
Rikke Bentsen

“The trip to England was very extensive and fun. We participated in the FA Level 1 course, which lasted 4 days, and where we had the pleasant course leader Trevor Cox, also known as Top Cat. It was instructive and useful. Otherwise we were in the musical "Thriller", we went shopping along Oxford Street, and visited the academi of Ipswich. The whole trip has been great, and I feel that I got a good dividend.”
Nina Backe

“I thought the trip to England was very succeeded. We learned a lot when it comes to be a coach and Trevor was a very good instructor. I think all of us have improved our coaching-skills. As a group we have learned to know each other better and I feel that it will be easier to cooperate as a group in school from now on. “
